We did manage to have drinks in the garden first but it turned really chilly about 3:30 and we had just decamped to the "party room" when the roast arrived. Masses of lovely food and even though many had seconds, friends still went home with doggie bags of everything - but I had first pick. All delicious but the crackling was unbelievably good. Just to say thank you so much for the hog roast on Sunday- it went down a storm and the guys were great. I think I have thrown every last ounce of energy into the wedding on Friday and the party on Sunday and have now left myself absolutely exhausted, run down and full of cold- but it was worth every minute.
